{"id":48577,"date":"2019-08-14T17:10:29","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T15:10:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48577"},"modified":"2019-08-12T17:25:10","modified_gmt":"2019-08-12T15:25:10","slug":"ndlovu-care-group-recent-available-employment-opportunity-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/ndlovu-care-group-recent-available-employment-opportunity-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Ndlovu Care Group Recent Available Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ndlovu Research Consortium is a collaboration between Utrecht University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, Ndlovu Care Group, and South African Universities.\u00a0 The focus of the South Africa-Netherlands Research Consortium is on HIV\/AIDS and its consequences for health and society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title: Medical Technologist\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Dennilton and Groblersdal.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to participate in all laboratory related activities at Ndlovu Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology)\/ Biomedical\u00a0 Technology<\/li>\n<li>HPCSA registration as Medical Technologist (Clinical Pathology)<\/li>\n<li>At least 3-5 years working experience preferably within a research environment<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of pathology test procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of instrumentation and methodologies (manual and automated).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of good laboratory practice and QA\/QC is essential<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of specimen processing and reading\/interpreting of test results<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer skills in MS Windows<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills, interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Numerical reasoning skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in research is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operates, maintains and calibrates the equipment used in the laboratory to ensure that it is operating efficiently and providing accurate results<\/li>\n<li>Assist in development and review of SOP\u2019s when required<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support within laboratory in order to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimen<\/li>\n<li>Analyses of results of conducted rapid tests<\/li>\n<li>Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory<\/li>\n<li>Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of the Ndlovu Research Centre(clinical research division of NCG)<\/li>\n<li>Implements sound housekeeping procedures and work effectively with others as a member of a team to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with safety protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Reports incidents, including instrument failures, problem solutions and reads documents and actions tasks on the laboratory information management system in compliance with relevant organisational policy.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of temperature of freezers, store rooms and laboratory<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for adhering to NCG Research Centre protocols as set standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Behavioural Competencies and skills: Client Focus; Action orientation; Problem solving; Quality orientation; Teamwork; Attention to details; Task structuring, Technical Knowledge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should submit their motivation letter and detailed CV to HR Administrator Anita Foulds, at fax number 013\u00a0262 3498 or by e-mail to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@ndlovu.com\">recruitment@ndlovu.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Friday, 23 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ndlovu Research Consortium is a collaboration between Utrecht University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, Ndlovu Care Group, and South African Universities.\u00a0 The focus of the South Africa-Netherlands Research Consortium&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[89],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
