As part of their HIV\/AIDS control efforts, SFH is using social marketing to motivate behaviour change with respect to consistent condom use, HIV testing and other safer behaviours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Travel Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Parktown<br \/>\n<strong>Department: <\/strong>Department of Finance and Adminstration<br \/>\n<strong>Employment status: <\/strong>Project Based<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Travel Arrangements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate all local travel arrangement (inclusive of flights, accommodation, transport, and transfers) for individuals and groups across SFH:<\/li>\n<li>Receive signed trip request<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with service providers to make travel arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with requester for approval of travel arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Prepare travel documentation for authorisation and enter onto Lawson.<\/li>\n<li>Secure procurement quotes for travel<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate international travel arrangements for SFH and partner agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Compile itineraries for travellers to communicate travel schedule<\/li>\n<li>Distribute relevant travel confirmation\/vouchers to travellers and service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate VISA application process and provide customers with all relevant information.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that travel suppliers are paid on time.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of travel policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Interface with customers and identify travel requirements (especially large travel arrangements)<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track all stages of the travel process from the preparation of travel bookings to the actual travel<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate Events<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate catering requirements with service providers for training, workshops, conferences, parties, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Organise travel arrangements for all conferences, training and workshops inclusive of:\n<ul>\n<li>Venues<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Flights<\/li>\n<li>Transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assist Contracts Department to appoint Travel related service providers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate all travel procurement activities in the organization<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all acquisitions of goods and services are professional, transparent (fair and equitable) and deliver value for money<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential suppliers through market research, to satisfy SFH requirements for goods and services<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\/place request for quotations<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate quotation for flights, cars, buses, accommodation, airport transfers and Compile travel competitive reviews\/ reports<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a dynamic database for registered preferred suppliers of accommodation, venues and transport.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate the best possible rates for SFH with the preferred suppliers, taking SFH\u2019s NPO status into account for special rates.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a quality control system in conjunction with users for evaluating the quality of services rendered.<\/li>\n<li>Perform a market analysis annually to ensure that SFH\u2019s lodging rates are in line with the market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the organisation follows travel and procurement policies and procedures in terms of purchases of travel related services.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously update and issue standardized travel documents\/ forms for the company.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain valid travel supplier contracts<\/li>\n<li>Participate in audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/B-Tech\/Diploma\/ or relevant Certificate in Travel or Supply Management<\/li>\n<li>Logistics or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Administration certificate would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to travel when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 1 years working experience within travel relates service<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of USG regulations and guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your full application to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@sfh.co.za\">recruitment@sfh.co.za<\/a> <\/strong>.\u00a0 All application submissions will be reviewed and considered, only the most qualified candidates will be short listed and contacted for interviews.\u00a0 SFH is an equal opportunity employer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> Sunday, 25 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Society for Family Health (SFH)\u00a0is a South African affiliate of Population Services International (PSI), an international NGO network operational in over 70 countries.
