{"id":48674,"date":"2019-08-20T10:58:05","date_gmt":"2019-08-20T08:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48674"},"modified":"2019-08-20T10:58:05","modified_gmt":"2019-08-20T08:58:05","slug":"the-trauma-centre-latest-available-job-opportunity-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-trauma-centre-latest-available-job-opportunity-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"The Trauma Centre Latest Available Job Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Trauma Centre for Survivors of Violence and Torture works to reduce violence through the promotion of peace and security in society at an interpersonal and collective level.<\/p>\n<p>Violence prevention efforts seek to decrease violence in homes, communities, institutions and other structures through capacity building, training, networking, counselling, psychological first aid and popular education.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Social Worker<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong> Woodstock<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> 1 September 2018<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the social worker is to take the lead in working with survivors of violence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual counselling<\/li>\n<li>Group counselling<\/li>\n<li>Crisis Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordination of services and events related to survivors of violence and torture<\/li>\n<li>Report Writing<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Conduct networking activities as required<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to professional development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.A Social Work Degree<\/li>\n<li>Registration with SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Three years\u2019 experience in group and individual counselling<\/li>\n<li>Three years\u2019 Experience in counselling young adolescents and adults<\/li>\n<li>Three years\u2019 experience working with trauma<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak two of the official South African languages<\/li>\n<li>A valid South African Driver\u2019s license\/Learners license with the understanding that Drives license should be obtained within 6 months of commencement of employment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV, a copy of your driver\u2019s license or learners License, proof of SACSSP registration and proof of qualifications to <strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@trauma.org.za\">info@trauma.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Monday, 19 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Trauma Centre for Survivors of Violence and Torture works to reduce violence through the promotion of peace and security in society at an interpersonal and collective level.
