{"id":48695,"date":"2019-08-21T14:55:15","date_gmt":"2019-08-21T12:55:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48695"},"modified":"2019-08-20T15:08:08","modified_gmt":"2019-08-20T13:08:08","slug":"democracy-works-foundation-recent-available-job-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/democracy-works-foundation-recent-available-job-opening.html","title":{"rendered":"Democracy Works Foundation Recent Available Job Opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Democracy Works Foundation provides tools to build resilient democracies in Southern Africa.\u00a0 DWF promotes civic engagement to contribute to the realisation of the core governing principles enshrined in the preamble of the South African Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>eSwatini<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> 01\u00a0October 2019, or as soon as possible<br \/>\n<strong>Contract type:\u00a0<\/strong>Fixed term<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the\u00a0Project Manager,\u00a0eSwatini is to be responsible for all aspects to ensure on time delivery of the USAID\u00a0Inclusive Policy Development and Dialogue (IPDD)\u00a0Programme\u00a0within budget and scope.\u00a0 This will include project planning, project implementation and evaluation in line with the organization\u2019s standards and donor requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop workplans, identify partners, organise training and events, and in general ensure that the sub-program objectives are effectively and efficiently realized.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the monitoring and evaluation process, track and document program activities and their impact.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain objective based relationships with all stakeholders and role-players.<\/li>\n<li>Attend program meetings with donors, partners, training teams, and key identified program advisory groups<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly, ad-hoc and final reports for authorized internal and external audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development of press releases and information briefs.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to publications, taking responsibility for their production and distribution<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the general program development of the field office<\/li>\n<li>Manage in-country operations, and provide effective managerial, administrative and logistical support for the successful implementation of\u00a0IPDD.<\/li>\n<li>Qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Post Graduate Degree in political science, international relations, or related field.
