{"id":48756,"date":"2019-08-26T15:02:11","date_gmt":"2019-08-26T13:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48756"},"modified":"2019-08-26T15:02:11","modified_gmt":"2019-08-26T13:02:11","slug":"home-from-home-trust-current-available-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/home-from-home-trust-current-available-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Home from Home Trust Current Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Home from Home Trust, a registered Cluster Foster Care Scheme, provides supported and supervised community based foster care for orphans, abused and neglected children through a network of small family homes located around the Cape metropole and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance and Administration Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Plumstead, Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> The Executive Director<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to be responsibe for all financial and management reporting ensuring best practice and sound financial governance at all times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that accounting records are up-to-date. Record general journals\/adjustments monthly and annually. Bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review management accounts incl, cash flow forecast.<\/li>\n<li>Donor financial management and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain annual budget and calculate shortfalls<\/li>\n<li>Cost control<\/li>\n<li>Monitor investment accounts<\/li>\n<li>Payroll (50 employees)<\/li>\n<li>Organisational compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintainance of HR records<\/li>\n<li>Manage a team of 4 (admin and financial staff)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Comm in Financial Management or equivalent tertiary qualification<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in financial management in the NPO sector<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in working with donors\/funders on financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Excel and Pastel Partner.
