Common Good is a Christian faith-based, not-for-profit organisation founded by Common Ground Church in 2005, working in a range of communities. We’re passionate about addressing issues of social justice that challenge our city. In June 2016, Common Good was appointed as a School Operating Partner (SOP) in the Collaboration Schools Initiative, a pilot project of the WCED. The initiative aims to improve educational outcomes in our non-fee-paying government schools through providing increased educational and operational support and strengthening governance, leadership and management. As a school operating partner Common Good is involved in the systematic transformation of a school -working in partnership with the SGB, SMT, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and learners to drive progress and improvement.<\/p>\n

Job Title: HR Administrator<\/strong>
\nLocation: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n

The purpose of this position is to provide administration support to the SOP HR Manager as well as plan and coordinate school and SOP events across our collaboration schools. Your role will entail assisting with all general HR administration, recruitment administration, and event planning and coordination. In addition to having the ability to conduct yourself in a confident and professional manner, you will be able to manage and prioritise your time and tasks effectively and be able to take initiative. You will be a self-starter, committed to self-improvement and development. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children by being a part of an initiative that is aimed at improving the quality of education in South Africa; have the relevant experience and the desire to serve with an organisation that loves our City and is passionate about social justice then this opportunity may be just for you.<\/p>\n
