Applications are invited from persons who suit the criteria below for three (3) internship programmes in Marshalltown, Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>An all-inclusive allowance package of R 7757.75 per month (contract not exceeding 12 months) is offered for the internships.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The internship will cover\u00a0but may not be limited to the following areas:<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Procurement Intern<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Job Profile<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contract management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with the PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, Corporate Governance and SCM<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate tenders<\/li>\n<li>Supplier management<\/li>\n<li>Full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery of goods<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>General administrative support<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Competency<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication and sound interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of legislation and developments in respect of education and training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>A proactive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Customer orientated<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Qualifications<\/em><\/p>\n<p>National Diploma, BTech or degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Learning Programmes Intern<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Job Profile<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Assist with administration in relation to non artisans learnerships, OHS, FLC and ABET<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Register learning programmes agreements for non artisans learnerships<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with MQA customer service standards<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Organise events including meetings and workshops for the Learning Programmes Unit<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Liaise and maintain relationships with various MQA stakeholders<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Assist with travel arrangement for the Learning Programmes Unit<\/li>\n<li>Assist with filing and document control<\/li>\n<li>Provide an administrative support service to the Learning Programmes Unit as and when needed<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other tasks delegated by the Learning Programmes Manager\/Learning Programmes Officer\/Specialist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Competency<\/em><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Good communication and sound interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of legislation and developments in respect of education and training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>A proactive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Customer orientated<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Qualifications<\/em><\/p>\n<p>National Diploma, BTech or degree in Human Resources Development.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Projects Intern<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Job Profile<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Projects assistance in terms of bursaries, lecturer support, internships, small scale mining, mine inspector training, retrenches and training programmes<\/li>\n<li>Employment Equity (EE) support to universities<\/li>\n<li>Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Development<\/li>\n<li>General office administration such as faxing, filing, co-ordinating of meetings, travel arrangements amongst others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Competency<\/em><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Good communication and sound interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of legislation and developments in respect of education and training<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>A proactive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Customer orientated<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Qualifications<\/em><\/p>\n<p>National Diploma, BTech or degree in Business Administration or Project Management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing date: 13 April 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Applicants who have not been notified within 1 month after the closing date of the advertisement must accept that their applications were not successful.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please forward your application letter and CV with certified copies of qualifications to:<\/p>\n<p>The Human Resources Unit<br \/>\nPrivate Bag X118<br \/>\nMarshalltown, 2107<br \/>\nEmail:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@mqa.org.za\">recruitment@mqa.org.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The MQA is an equal opportunity employer and preference will be given to previously disadvantage individuals and people with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>The MQA reserves the right not to make an appointment.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) for the Mining and Mineral Sector in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998.
