We are a non profit organisation based in Hillbrow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Tilte: Bookkeeper and Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Hillbrow, Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p>The Outreach Foundation seeks to appoint a full-time, suitably qualified and experienced Bookkeeper and Administrator, based in<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support to Finance Manager to ensure that all stipulated financial, procurement and human resources processes are followed in accordance with OF policy<\/li>\n<li>Processing and payment of invoices as instructed by Finance Manager<\/li>\n<li>Capturing of financial entries in QuickBooks<\/li>\n<li>Perform monthly bank reconciliations and project advances<\/li>\n<li>Process journal entries and any other ad hoc requests by ED, Finance Manager and Project Managers<\/li>\n<li>Assist with managing petty cash, including managing receipts and reconciling petty cash records accurately and timeously<\/li>\n<li>Assist Finance Manager in maintaining asset register and financial and employment policies<\/li>\n<li>Management and maintenance of official documentation including staff leave records, claim forms, expense forms etc<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and updating service provider contacts records<\/li>\n<li>Office security<\/li>\n<li>In cooperation with receptionist maintain asset register<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years bookkeeping and office management experience<\/li>\n<li>A diploma\/degree in bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills in English (spoken, written, reading)<\/li>\n<li>Competence and experience using MS Office suite (including EXEL) and QuickBooks accounting<\/li>\n<li>Experience of bookkeeping and financial compliance is an essential requirement<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of ability to communicate well with people<\/li>\n<li>Hold a clean driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>A previous working experience in a NGO would serve as an advantage<\/li>\n<li>You should be self-motivated and flexible, friendly, innovative and creative, fair minded and practical<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct oneself with discretion and sensitivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should be a South African citizen or hold a permanent residence permit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit your CV along with a covering letter outlining your suitability for the post to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:manager@outreachfoundation.co.za\">manager@outreachfoundation.co.za<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 6 September, 2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Outreach Foundation \u2013 with its full name &#8211; Lutheran Community Outreach Foundation, is a development organisation in the heart of one of the most diverse and most densely populated&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[12,19],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
