It aims to identify the systemic challenges\u00a0in the society and to overcome fragmentation of policy, systems and delivery through innovative new interventions and partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Khulisa Streetscapes provides chronic homeless individuals\u00a0with concurrent substance misuse and or mental health problems a rehabilitation opportunity through a dedicated work programme\u00a0combined with psychosocial support focussed on a harm reduction model. Streetsacpes has a Safe House in Kuilsriver for clean living, work and rehablitation for our beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Social Worker<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Kuilsriver<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> R15 000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reqiurements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 year\u2019s related experience<\/li>\n<li>Current registration with SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Have knowledge of Motivational Interviewing approach, specifically aimed at harm reduction<\/li>\n<li>Unendorsed driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in at least two official languages (English &amp; Afrikaans)<\/li>\n<li>Must reside within close proximity to Kuilsriver, Sarepta<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide holistic psychosocial assessment of beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Provide in- house counselling support to beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Perform crisis interventions when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Compile and submit reports e.g. Psycho Social Assessments, statistics, Performance Development Plan (PDP)<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings and networking<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties, as and when so requested, in support of team goals<\/li>\n<li>Manage coaches on site<\/li>\n<li>Report to senior social worker on a regular basis<\/li>\n<li>Organisational awareness<\/li>\n<li>Resilience and stress management<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing<\/li>\n<li>Judgement and decision making<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Team work<\/li>\n<li>Engaging diversity<\/li>\n<li>Strong administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Organisational &amp; communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates have to submit a letter of motivation for the application, Curriculum Vitae (not exceeding 3 pages) to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:fatima@khulisa.org.za\">fatima@khulisa.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 6 September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Khulisa Social Solutions is a non-profit organisation addressing the challenges faced by\u00a0communities in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
