The Organisation operates within the framework of the Social Housing Act. Yeast City Housing mandate is to ensure decent, affordable housing, and to contribute to urban regeneration and social inclusion through well-managed social housing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Credit Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Pretoria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimise rental collections above 98%<\/li>\n<li>Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer\u2019s payments<\/li>\n<li>Manage recoveries related to rental collections<\/li>\n<li>Administer rental charges<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating re-payment plans with tenants<\/li>\n<li>Monitor quotation information for prospective tenants<\/li>\n<li>Review all tenants\u2019 invoices and verify accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Caretakers of Yeast City Housing to deliver invoices<\/li>\n<li>Ensure rental deposits are paid prior to tenant occupation of the unit<\/li>\n<li>Review Age Analysis daily and take appropriate action<\/li>\n<li>Generate and send out rental reminders<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile with the bookkeeper all rental payments received<\/li>\n<li>Manage the termination of lease process and advise necessary action required<\/li>\n<li>Track arear accounts and flag for appropriate action<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with legal structures regarding bad debt<\/li>\n<li>Attend to tenants\u2019 queries and provide solutions timeously<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial, Accounting and budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Eviction Management &amp; Risk management<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Customer service<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Emotional intelligence &amp; relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Conflict management &amp; problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Credit Control Management or relevant qualification<\/li>\n<li>3 years\u2019 work experience in Property Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your detailed CV with contactable references to Thembi Mahlope on email;<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:thembi@ych.org.za\">thembi@ych.org.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 5 September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yeast City Housing is the first social housing company in the City of Tshwane and one of the first in South Africa.
