Our work culture is adapted to the constantly evolving South African health care environment and will suit solution-driven team players interested in opportunities for career development while working to connect people with care.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: DCS Programme Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the position<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Correctional Services Programme (CSP) Manager will lead a dynamic team to optimise programme performance on a national scale. The incumbent will inform the strategic planning and roll out of a combination prevention strategy (VMMC, HIV testing, linkage to care) across a national network of over 60 correctional centres. A close collaboration with key role players in correctional services, both at national and site level, is critical. A proactive and pragmatic management approach with technical expertise will enhance programme deliverables in this unique and challenging environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main job tasks, duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Provide technical support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership across planning, capacity building, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for a national correctional services programme<\/li>\n<li>Effectively coordinate a national combination prevention plan through HIV testing and VMMC (voluntary medical male circumcision) roll-out<\/li>\n<li>Align the Correctional Services Programme to the National Strategic Plan (NSP) (2017 \u2013 2022), UNAIDS\u2019 90-90-90 strategy for both HIV and TB and contributes towards Operation Phuthuma<\/li>\n<li>Implement direct service delivery and develop work plans in accordance with operational budgets<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate external quality audits (CDC) and site visits<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with other programmes to enhance integration<\/li>\n<li>Manage sub-contracted organisations and review their programmatic and financial reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Liaison with stakeholders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with CDC, and CDC linked partners<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) and where necessary, the Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services (JICS), South African National Institute for Crime Prevention and the Reintegration of Offenders (NICRO)<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organisation on national task teams, associated working groups, DCS regional conferences and workshops<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the National Health Laboratory Service (linkage to care)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all MOUs linked to province (NDoH) are current<\/li>\n<li>Maintain service level agreements with regional correctional services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Provide quality improvement (QI) and quality assurance (QA)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse and interpret data to identify opportunities for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Support and monitor quality improvement projects<\/li>\n<li>Activate quality assurance initiatives (RT-CQI, SPi-RT)<\/li>\n<li>Coach QI linked staff to achieve a QI environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4.
