One of its programmes, the Rainbow PSR Groups, offers community-based psychosocial rehabilitation and support to adults with psychiatric \/psychosocial disabilities in the form of 26 weekly support groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Mechanic\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong> Observatory Head Office<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Contract Position for 1 year<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The Mechanic is responsible for the repairs and servicing of approximately 30 light and medium size vehicles of Cape Mental Health.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and initiate regular preventative maintenance of the fleet to circumvent costly break-downs<\/li>\n<li>Set up network of costs effective and high quality automotive parts procurement links to ensure parts<\/li>\n<li>availability at short notice to minimize vehicle downtime<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize breakdown repairs as directed by the Administration Manager in support of all projects<\/li>\n<li>Flexible availability to accommodate urgent breakdowns<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work independently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A trade tested Petrol \/ Diesel Mechanic<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years\u2019 experience in vehicle mechanical repairs and servicing<\/li>\n<li>Be able to repair and service fleet that consists of petrol and diesel cars such as TATA\u2019s, Nissan\u2019s,Toyota and 22 seaters such as Mercedes brands.<\/li>\n<li>Output and quality driven with creative ideas on how to save costs.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to do root cause problem solving to eliminate future repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Experience to set up and maintain a regular vehicle preventative maintenance system to minimize costly repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Honesty &amp; Integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Accommodating and supportive<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence in support of above mentioned vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Speak English and 1 other official SA language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please submit your CV with contactable references to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Willemien Buys<br \/>\nAdministration Department<br \/>\nPhone 021-447 9040 e-mail:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:willemienb@cmh.org.za\">willemienb@cmh.org.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or deliver to Cape Mental Health Head Office, 22 Ivy Road, Observatory Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 11 September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Mental Health is a non-profit organisation that offers comprehensive and proactive mental health services in the Western Cape.
