{"id":48986,"date":"2019-09-09T19:09:01","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T17:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48986"},"modified":"2019-09-09T19:09:01","modified_gmt":"2019-09-09T17:09:01","slug":"the-tshwane-leadership-foundation-tlf-current-available-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-tshwane-leadership-foundation-tlf-current-available-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"The Tshwane Leadership Foundation (TLF) Current Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tshwane Leadership Foundation (TLF) is a nonprofit organisation working with churches and communities for urban transformation with a specific focus on social inclusion a process that integrates socially vulnerable people creatively and prevents displacement as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operational Manager\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Akanani<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> As soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of strategic plans<\/li>\n<li>Provide ministry guidance for the project<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of the Akanani team<\/li>\n<li>Oversee volunteers and students<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and participate in the daily activities of the project<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the project coordinator and support the team<\/li>\n<li>Networking on all relevant levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years of experience in community development work<\/li>\n<li>3 Years of experience working with homeless communities<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid drivers license<\/li>\n<li>Speak at least 3 South African languages<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work within a diverse team and environment<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills<\/li>\n<li>A degree in theology and\/ or community development would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Have knowledge about skills development and employment projects<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, punctual and dependable.<\/li>\n<li>Have NGO experience<\/li>\n<li>Competencies:<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse ages and cultures.<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, punctual and dependable.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders in the community.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and communications skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contractual arrangements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a full-time position (45 hours per week). The successful candidate will receive an initial 6 months performance-based contract in line with the organizational policy.
