{"id":49023,"date":"2019-09-10T17:12:58","date_gmt":"2019-09-10T15:12:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=49023"},"modified":"2019-09-10T17:12:58","modified_gmt":"2019-09-10T15:12:58","slug":"pata-recent-available-employment-opportunity-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/pata-recent-available-employment-opportunity-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"PATA Recent Available Employment Opportunity &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PATA, a South African NGO, coordinates an action network across sub-Saharan Africa, working with health providers and health facilities to improve the quality of paediatric and adolescent HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.<\/p>\n<p>PATA offers a powerful platform for regional collaboration through capacity building, peer-to-peer exchange and learning forums, supporting quality improvement to effect positive change in HIV paediatric and adolescent policy and practice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: M&amp;E data capturer\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to maintain the organization\u2019s database by entering new and updated programme and organisational data.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure M&amp;E unit receives all M&amp;E and other reporting forms when due and follow up where there are \u00a0 missing data reporting forms.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate, timeous data entry into databases.<\/li>\n<li>Identify missing data, inconsistencies and errors and follow-up or report on missing data or errors.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and communicate any issues that are delaying progress in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the analysis of data in programmes for use in donor deliverables (e.g. performance monitoring and quarterly and annual reports), grant proposals, and research outputs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in meeting donor reporting deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain filing system to ensure secure and organised storage of completed data collection tools and other related M&amp;E documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain databases.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development of new M&amp;E data systems and participate in the design, revision and standardisation of data collection templates, processes, formats, reports and administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An undergraduate degree in public health, social science or relevant discipline.<\/li>\n<li>M&amp;E data management and statistics short courses or coursework advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum one year demonstrated experience in the health\/development sector required, preferable within an HIV-focussed project or study.<\/li>\n<li>Data capturing or data administration experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer skills (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel).<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of databases and spreadsheets such as Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Fast and accurate data capturing and entry skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Basic filing and record keeping experience.<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to travel throughout sub-Saharan Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Must be in possession of permanent residency and eligible to work in South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English (written and oral)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please email a concise CV with contactable references and a detailed motivation letter on how your skills and experience will add value to our team in this role to:<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:glynis@teampata.org\">glynis@teampata.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 25 September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PATA, a South African NGO, coordinates an action network across sub-Saharan Africa, working with health providers and health facilities to improve the quality of paediatric and adolescent HIV prevention, treatment,&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
