The Haven Night Shelter Organisation\u2019s method is to make temporary shelter, rehabilitation opportunities, social welfare services, family reunification services, physical care and support available to adult people living on the streets who are committed to reintegration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Hosts<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Bellville and Swartland<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0Shelter Managers.<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> R5 700.00 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Host will be responsible for the initial intake of clients including their safety and care.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising clients.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative duties.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining the cleanliness and housekeeping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reside in the area or in surrounding areas,<\/li>\n<li>Code B drivers licence,<\/li>\n<li>Grade 10 Certificate,<\/li>\n<li>be able to work shifts and alternate weekends,<\/li>\n<li>ability to interact with clients from different cultures and religions,<\/li>\n<li>manage conflict situations, basic level of computer literacy &#8211; MS Office, MS Excel and Outlook,<\/li>\n<li>ability to work as a team player,<\/li>\n<li>be of sober habits, no criminal record,<\/li>\n<li>be in good health,<\/li>\n<li>experience in the NGO sector will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To apply<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
