Job Purpose: Education, Experience and competencies required: Key Areas of responsibility:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Reporting to the IT Operations Manager \/ IT Facilities Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing all aspects of technical support to end users within the constraints of the technical processes.
\n\u2022 Ensuring stability and maximal availability of the IT infrastructure components to the unit, as well as performing all technical tasks as assigned and required.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Matric
\n\u2022 MCTS \/ MCP is essential
\n\u2022 MCITP: Server Administration is advantageous.
\n\u2022 Dell: OSD Client Desktop & Client Notebook is advantageous.
\n\u2022 ITIL Foundations certificate is advantageous.
\n\u2022 3 – 5 years relevant and current IT support experience.
\n\u2022 Experience in a large IT department, helpdesk environment, customer service environment, shift work based operations.
\n\u2022 Shift work based operations.
\n\u2022 Gaming license (Probity clearance as applicable).<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Ensures closure of assigned 2nd level Fault Resolution calls within the required SLA.
\n\u2022 Executes change control work orders as assigned within the required SLA.
\n\u2022 Ensure maximum stability of IT facility infrastructure components by performing systems maintenance tasks.
\n\u2022 Ensures appropriate execution on projects based on defined deliverables.
\n\u2022 Provides assistance or adhoc training to users when required.
\n\u2022 Contributes to the continuous improvement of operational policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
