HPPSA is looking for candidates that meet the below listed qualities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Monitoring &amp; Evaluation Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Salary: R36 000.00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lead, develop, review, refine and maintain MER systems<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements\/Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Health ,Social Science or Statistics<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 6 years\u2019 M &amp; E experience especially in the design and implementation of M &amp; E systems and capacity building in the USAID\/PEPFAR\/GF programs<\/li>\n<li>3 years\u2019 experience working with M &amp; E Tools<\/li>\n<li>Understanding evaluation approaches, practices, international discourse on community based developments and HIV\/AIDS and health matters<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of understanding USAID\/PEPFAR, KFW, NDOH and Government reporting systems<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is a must while knowledge of SA local languages is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel to remote areas and ability and experience in field training on M&amp;E<\/li>\n<li>Good Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal Skills, written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties\/Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lead, develop, review, refine and maintain MER systems<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand evaluation approaches and practice, international discourse on community based developments \u00a0and health matters;<\/li>\n<li>Lead and develop, review, refine and maintain MER systems for the organization\u2019s program as well as other HPPSA programs in South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Programme Directors and other HPPSA program leadership to refine methodologies and tools for impact monitoring and ensure a good fit between the monitoring indicators and the overall MER systems;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate team learning from findings of monitoring surveys and present findings<\/li>\n<li>Provide support for developing and implementing field M&amp;E systems including building capacity of Program teams to undertake on-going MER tasks;<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for compiling periodic reports for FPD and other HPPSA partners working closely with program staff and ensure timeous reporting to the funding partners;<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for compiling presentations for meetings (period\/ad hoc management meetings) for FPD working closely with program staff and ensure timeous submission to the Program Directors<\/li>\n<li>Develop databases to improve management of data from M&amp;E systems across the organization;<\/li>\n<li>Promote internal data analysis as well as conduct routine data quality assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all MER documents and supporting documentation are properly completed for audit purposes;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate impact reporting as well as evaluation studies for the KFW FPD Program as well as other HPPSA programs.<\/li>\n<li>This includes developing evaluation plans and provide leadership on evaluations of HPPSA programs;<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking baseline and monitoring surveys in target sites, analyses and discuss findings;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate team learning from findings of monitoring surveys and present findings within FPD Programs and at other forums as requested;<\/li>\n<li>Work with program staff to conduct site visits to implementing sites and provide MER related to HPPSA, Department of Health (DOH) facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other organizations to share tools and lessons learned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a motivational letter and CV no later than \u00a0to the following address:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:applications@hpp-sa.org\">applications@hpp-sa.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application\u00a0 Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Monday, 30 September, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Humana People to People in South Africa seeks to recruit a Monitoring &amp; Evaluation Officer based in Pinetown, Durban.
