The individual will provide finance and administration advice and support to a new and exciting USAID funded project to improve the MDR TB service delivery in uMgungundlovu.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location Deadline: <\/strong>Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> The Chief Financial Officer<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Finance and Administration (F&amp;A) Officer will assist in operational support to the project team.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will be responsible for financial and administrative functions of the project, including the management of accounting and financial transactions, financial reporting, and management of daily project administration.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will assist in the development of administrative and operations management systems and processes required to maintain project implementation and will guarantee that these processes are in compliance with USAID policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>The Finance &amp; Administration Officer will assist in oversee procurement processes.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will provide overall management support to the office, and will provide critical logistical support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor Commerce in Finance or Accounting degree;<\/li>\n<li>Qualified \/ Partly Qualified Hands -on Accountant SAIPA\/CIMA\/SAICA\/ACCA;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in finance management preferably in Non-profit environment;<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 year of experience working in grant management, subaward management preferably a USAID grant;<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial management, data analysis, excel skills;<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with VAT<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Pastel Partner or NetSuite financial management and strong bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow through on assignments;<\/li>\n<li>A valid Code B Driver\u2019s License and own transport<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment soonest.
