Our products are used in a wide range of applications, from bakery and confectionery to culinary and infant nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>With in-depth knowledge of ingredients, applications and processes, the Bunge Loders Croklaan team closely cooperates with customers to develop tailored solutions and create innovative products to meet their business goals and differentiate them in in the marketplace. Coordinate the execution of the Shea Sustainability Program BLC and the implementation of projects in both our sourcing countries and our factory in Tema.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Sustainability Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tamale, Northern, Ghana<br \/>\n<strong>Contract:<\/strong> Type Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/>\nGeneral duties<br \/>\n\u2022Support in the execution of the Shea Sustainability Program BLC<br \/>\n\u2022Support the coordination and monitoring of implementation of projects in both our sourcing countries and our factory in Tema<br \/>\n\u2022Build and consolidate Sustainability partnerships with BLC partners<br \/>\n\u2022Stakeholder engagement both internal and external (BLC departments, suppliers, NGOs, consultants, government)<br \/>\n\u2022Actively participate and represent company\u2019s interest in industry meetings\/working groups (Global Shea Alliance)<br \/>\n\u2022Frequently visit project areas in the West African Region (Ghana, Burkina Faso, Benin etc.)<br \/>\n\u2022Provide input for new project opportunities in line with BLC\u2019s Sustainable Shea Program and Bunge\u2019s overall sustainability strategy<br \/>\n\u2022Preparing various periodic progress reports on implementation of Sustainable Shea Program<br \/>\n\u2022Measure, verify and report impact on the ground<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time<\/li>\n<li>Departmental Relations<br \/>\nMaintains relations with Supply Chain department<\/li>\n<li>External relations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relations with NGO, Global Shea community, other relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for company assets<\/li>\n<li>Has responsibility for the maintenance and effective use of office and other working tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational qualification<br \/>\noMinimum University degree \u2013 agriculture\/environment\/sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience<br \/>\noRelevant working experience (Min. 3 years in CSR\/sustainability and\/or cocoa other commodity industry, NGO or UN field experience is pr\u00e9)<\/li>\n<li>Technical skills<br \/>\noAffinity with reporting and Excel (MS Office in general)<\/li>\n<li>Personality<br \/>\noAbility to drive change on the ground and work within our Sustainable Operating Principles<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, fluency in French and English<\/li>\n<li>Character: has integrity and trustworthiness, persuasiveness, practical and realistic approach<\/li>\n<li>Attitude: positive, improver, collaborates well with colleagues in an international environment, willing to work in the field (Sahel region)<\/li>\n<li>Innovative thinking: ability to contribute new perspectives and ideas<\/li>\n<li>Energy: self-starter, thinks independently and takes initiative<\/li>\n<li>Execution excellence: get things done<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Job\/Index\/34335\"><strong>Click Here\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>21st\u00a0October 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bunge Loders Croklaan is a leading global producer and supplier of sustainable premium quality vegetable oils and fats for the food manufacturing industry.
