Each child living with a life-threatening illness is given a chance to dream. We do not discriminate based on race, culture, financial status or any other factor.<\/p>\n<p>We also encourage our dream children to stretch their imagination when thinking of their dreams.<br \/>\nCandidates with no fundraising experience and no drivers license must not apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fundraiser<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>planning,<\/li>\n<li>coordinating and implementing various local and national fundraising initiatives within the Western Cape.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for the research, planning and implementation of fundraising strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Through fundraising initiatives you will create awareness and act in a professional and efficient manner to attract and retain positive donor relations as well as other responsibilities that come with the portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have experience in<\/li>\n<li>Marketing,<\/li>\n<li>PR, fundraising events management, social media management and excellent time and planning management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Qualifications:<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification related to marketing, events management, PR, Communication or other related fields<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with charities (preference to children\u2019s related or medical charities) Experience:<\/li>\n<li>2-5 years working experience within a related environment<\/li>\n<li>Volunteering for related charities<\/li>\n<li>Events management experience<\/li>\n<li>Able to priorities and manage timelines<\/li>\n<li>Understanding charity fundraising environments and challenges<\/li>\n<li>Donor relations<\/li>\n<li>PR Skills required for the position:<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships<\/li>\n<li>Experience in handling budgets and finances<\/li>\n<li>Integrity and good work ethic<\/li>\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<li>Planning<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license essential Personal skills:<\/li>\n<li>Confident<\/li>\n<li>Mature<\/li>\n<li>Respectful<\/li>\n<li>Child-friendly<\/li>\n<li>Non discriminating<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Responsible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send us your CV with a motivational letter attached.
