{"id":49610,"date":"2019-10-17T12:01:48","date_gmt":"2019-10-17T10:01:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=49610"},"modified":"2019-10-17T12:40:59","modified_gmt":"2019-10-17T10:40:59","slug":"careworks-recent-available-employment-opportunity-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/careworks-recent-available-employment-opportunity-2.html","title":{"rendered":"JAM International Recent Available Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2004, CareWorks has provided healthcare services\u00a0including comprehensive chronic disease management, onsite health risk assessments and screening, as well as training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: HTS Lay Counsellors<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Bojanala District, NW (Madibeng 4, Moretele 1, Moses Kotane 3, Rustenburg 3, Kgatleng 1) Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, NW (Matlosana 3) Ngaka Modiri Molema District, NW (Ditsobotla 1, Ramotshere Moiloa 1, Ratlou 1)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Contract \u2013 Event Based Linked to Funding<br \/>\n<strong>Salary Range: <\/strong>Market Related \u2013 To be discussed<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inherent requirements of the position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid certificate in HIV Counselling &amp; Testing, Adherence Counselling and training in basic HAST<\/li>\n<li>Must be quality conscience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent counselling and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Non-judgmental, trustworthy and empathetic personality<\/li>\n<li>Discrete and confidential<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work irregular working hours, including weekends and a willingness to travel within a district<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in multiple South African languages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide an HTS services through index tracing, workplace and community combination HIV prevention initiatives including STI\u2019s, TB, HCT, risk reduction counselling, screening and referrals<\/li>\n<li>Obtain an informed and written consent for HIV counselling and testing, TB and STI\u2019s screening<\/li>\n<li>Perform finger prick of capillary blood for HIV rapid testing<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the onsite services are documented and reconciled, daily<\/li>\n<li>Submit the documents electronically, as per CareWorks standard operating procedures<\/li>\n<li>Escalate any challenges to the team leader\/district manager, timeously<\/li>\n<li>Daily submission of completed CW HTS records via the CW app for capturing at head office<\/li>\n<li>Participate in IQC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your application to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:jobs@careworks.co.za\">jobs@careworks.co.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or Fax: 021 413 2933<\/li>\n<li>Your application must contain\u00a0<strong>ALL<\/strong>\u00a0of the following:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A cover letter motivating your application<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit your up to date CV with accompanying certificates<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>State the position you are applying for and location with District in the subject line of the email application<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please take note of the following before submitting an application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that you meet the all of the requirements of the position (educational, inherent requirements as well as required experience)<\/li>\n<li>Unless otherwise stated CareWorks will not pay relocation costs for candidates who wish to take up a position in another town or province<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CareWorks reserves the right not to fill this vacancy and to withdraw the advertisement for this position at any stage during the recruitment process<\/li>\n<li>We are committed to transformation.
