They enjoy an environment of continuous learning, challenging experiences, and enriching career opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Deloitte&#8217;s professionals are dedicated to strengthening corporate responsibility, building public trust, and making a positive impact in their communities\u00a0The following position is vacant within Experienced Hire Recruitment:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recruitment Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Job spec analysis together with the Recruitment Advisor<\/li>\n<li>Entering of job spec onto the recruitment system, including information from the business as well as brainstormed information from the Recruitment Advisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sourcing Candidates<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment Assistant is involved in the sourcing of candidates utilising the following methods:<\/li>\n<li>Database searches<\/li>\n<li>Information from the Recruitment Advisor<\/li>\n<li>Word of mouth or Personal Network<\/li>\n<li>Mining of Headhunting list<\/li>\n<li>Other Recruitment Assistants and Advisors<\/li>\n<li>Current candidates and placements &#8211; referral system<\/li>\n<li>Internal candidates and internal referrals<\/li>\n<li>Advertising<\/li>\n<li>Agency sourcing<\/li>\n<li>Capturing of CVs &#8211; for the position or ad hoc<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the database is reviewed and information sent through to the Recruitment Advisor twice daily &#8211; candidates pre-screened and discussed as a team<\/li>\n<li>Turnaround times on responses to each candidate should be within 24 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monitoring Progress of the Position<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discussion with the Recruitment Advisor regarding the position and appropriate candidates<\/li>\n<li>Setting up of all candidate interviews, which includes:<\/li>\n<li>Setting up interviews<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling of venues<\/li>\n<li>Sending job spec and email to the candidate<\/li>\n<li>Welcome and introduction to the candidates<\/li>\n<li>Interviewing of junior positions where appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the interview synopsis, which includes:<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of CVs<\/li>\n<li>Discussed interview feedback<\/li>\n<li>Summary of recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that business meetings are scheduled with all relevant people<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all ITC, criminal and qualification checks are completed and information feed back to the Recruitment Advisor<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Integrity<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Recruitment Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all information is 100% accurate within the recruitment database. This includes:<\/li>\n<li>Open positions<\/li>\n<li>Future positions<\/li>\n<li>Candidate information<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment Assistant must have an in-depth knowledge into the candidates within the database, in order to assist the Recruitment Advisor with finding specific candidates for a position<\/li>\n<li>Management and maintenance of the filing system<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relationship Management<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that communication exceeds all stakeholders expectations, through appropriate frequency and content<\/li>\n<li>Gain understanding of stakeholders needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment Assistant is an integral part of the recruitment process and is as responsible for client service and satisfaction as the Recruitment Advisor<\/li>\n<li>Gain understanding of the business<\/li>\n<li>Gain understanding of the market<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage business expectations if the Recruitment Advisor is not in the office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong client service focus and relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Self motivated<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle a number of tasks at one time<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use own initiative in a focused, deadline-driven environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player and good understanding of team dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Professional<\/li>\n<li>Right attitude<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail is critical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualification and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business related degree or diploma would be preferable<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 or more years business experience<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of general business principles<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Jobs in South Africa BY Joblist South Africa by Deloitte South Africa\" href=\"http:\/\/careers.deloitte.com\/south-africa\/experienced-professionals\/experienced.aspx\">Click here to locate this Job and apply directly to Deloitte South Africa<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deloitte&#8216;s professionals are unified by a collaborative culture that fosters integrity, outstanding value to markets and clients, commitment to each other, and strength from cultural diversity.
