This initiative aims to present an alternative for you to aid people in need.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Finance &amp; HR Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Issuing of payments and obtaining the necessary approvals according to the MES policy.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all financials controls &amp; related admin, booking, assets &amp; logostics are managed.<\/li>\n<li>Full control of the branch&#8217;s component of the accounting system (QuickBooks).<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the revenue cycle is done according to the MES financial policy including the issuing of invoices, receipts and banking.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that data capturing, bank reconciliations, issuing of receipts and invoices is timeously completed.<\/li>\n<li>Debtor management and invoicing.<\/li>\n<li>Constructive communication with financial service providers via; the bank, QuickBooks, auditors etc.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly financial report to the Branch Manager and Head Office.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in drawing the annual budget and ensure programmes are kept to budget control measures.<\/li>\n<li>Processing payments for salaries and to suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that filing of all financial records such as bank statements, cheque requests, creditors etc. is kept according to MES policy.<\/li>\n<li>HR Functions:<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all personnel staff files are up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the daily register is completed by staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all HR filing and record keeping is done.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in processing IOD claims.<\/li>\n<li>Attend to other HR admin duties and queries.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate training and other HR projects.<\/li>\n<li>Process leave and prepare leave report monthly.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure leave register is up to date and staff leave audit is completed.<\/li>\n<li>Gather all the necessary documents for monthly salary run.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that appropriate arrangements are made for the workloads of staff that are on leave to be allocated to temporary staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that performance appraisal processes are completed timeously and professionally.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate disciplinary processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in completing HR stats and reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma OR Digree in Accounting or similar qualification<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years&#8217; experience in finance management position<\/li>\n<li>QuickBooks,<\/li>\n<li>Drivers Licence<\/li>\n<li>MS Office Suite<\/li>\n<li>Competencies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Planning &amp; Organising<\/li>\n<li>Working with people<\/li>\n<li>Team Work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be sent to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:vacancies@mes.org.za\">vacancies@mes.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Enquires:<\/strong> (011) 725 -6531<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 1 November, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MES\u00a0Kempton Park provides Shelter and Meal Vouchers.
