{"id":49719,"date":"2019-10-24T13:35:25","date_gmt":"2019-10-24T11:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=49719"},"modified":"2019-10-24T13:35:25","modified_gmt":"2019-10-24T11:35:25","slug":"valcare-recent-available-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/valcare-recent-available-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Valcare Recent Available Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valcare, a NPC in Paarl has a new position for a Data and Research Officer which will\u00a0provide data and information management, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and project management support to the Valcare Impact Manager within the Valcare Impact Unit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Data and Research Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data and Information Management:<\/li>\n<li>Collecting data, information, evidence and existing research documentation to support needs analysis and development of social investment strategies within the Cape Winelands in a fieldwork and desktop function.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and managing data collection strategies, such as surveys and research.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and verification of statistics presented by Valcare Member organisations within a Monitoring and Evaluation framework.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining data and information management system. .<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of Data and Information:<\/li>\n<li>Compilation of data into information packs to assist the development of strategies and priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the preparation of internal and external reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Provide Data Support to Valcare Network:<\/li>\n<li>Disseminating of relevant information to member organisations and stakeholders.Collecting, analyzing and managing evidence and data in support of Valcare Monitoring and Evaluation process<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Impact Manager in compiling Monitoring and Evaluation reports to member organisations and donors.<\/li>\n<li>Any other reasonable request by Valcare Impact Manager and CEO as needed<\/li>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>Tertiary qualification required, including certificate, diploma or degree (as applicable).<\/li>\n<li>Employment Equity<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven record of data and information collection, collation, review, analysis and presentation skills and experience.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Monitoring and Evaluation of projects experience preferred, but not a pre-requisite.<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer skills, including the ability to operate research and data management software programmes, Google-suite programmes, Microsoft-suite programmes and other software as requested for completion of work tasks. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM programmes is desired but not a pre-requisite.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with the presentation of data and information in a visual format, including data graphs, summary graphics, data mapping and geographic mapping of information.
