{"id":49837,"date":"2019-10-29T10:42:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-29T08:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=49837"},"modified":"2019-10-28T18:57:34","modified_gmt":"2019-10-28T16:57:34","slug":"tb-hiv-investigative-network-think-current-available-job-opportunity-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/tb-hiv-investigative-network-think-current-available-job-opportunity-2.html","title":{"rendered":"TB &#038; HIV Investigative Network (THINK ) Current Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THINK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by TB and HIV\/AIDS. \u00a0As a health delivery and research organisation, THINK engages with the local community, government consortia, and international funders to provide care for over 100,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal Province and carries out cutting-edge clinical research that has already contributed to changing TB Treatment Guidelines internationally and locally.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>M&amp;E Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the M&amp;E Advisor, the M&amp;E Coordinator will support the data collection, management, and monitoring components of the THINK USAID (SIYENZA) Project in uMgungundlovu District, KwaZulu-Natal Province. The aim of the SIYENZA Project is to safeguard advances of TB treatment by strengthening the MDR TB health care platform in the uMgungundlovu District. \u00a0The M&amp;E Coordinator will be based at THINK SIYENZA Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, enter and ensure accuracy of project intervention data<\/li>\n<li>Conduct process monitoring of the SIYENZA Program including conducting data quality audits<\/li>\n<li>Implement monitoring arrangements to ensure that project monitoring arrangements comply with SIYENZA MEL Plan<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic site data quality checks, identify and implement requisite interventions to ensure data quality and efficient data collection from site level<\/li>\n<li>Collect, enter and analyse data from project interventions<\/li>\n<li>Guide programme staff in the development, implementation and measuring of QI initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report on QI successes<\/li>\n<li>Assist M&amp;E Advisor with creating data-collection templates and processes<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. public health, social sciences, demography, biostatistics)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 4 years working experience managing integrated TB \/ HIV\/AIDS related data, including data management<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills with knowledge of MS Office software packages<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with EDR and Tier. Net systems<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of TB and DR TB will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal communication and writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Valid Code 08 Drivers licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment soonest.
