It provides emergency residential care, therapeutic services, educational and recreational services to children who have been neglected, abused or abandoned.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: House Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Ottery, Cape Town.<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0Salary is competitive and benefits include leave and pension.<\/p>\n<p>The purpospe of the position is to\u00a0be a responsible person who is prepared to work according to the ethics and values of Heavens Nest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take Care of legal structures<\/li>\n<li>Submit legal applications<\/li>\n<li>Implement policies and adherence of it<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with Statutory Organisations<\/li>\n<li>Management of Staff<\/li>\n<li>Recruit\u2026. Staff &amp; Volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Training\u2026. In-house &amp; external<\/li>\n<li>Registers &amp; Rosters, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the well-being of the children<\/li>\n<li>Identify and address their needs<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Social Worker on progress of children<\/li>\n<li>Plan and manage all purchases<\/li>\n<li>Monitor donations of clothing, food, toys, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for transportation of children<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prescribed medication is properly administered<\/li>\n<li>Sustain the Project<\/li>\n<li>Source Funds and other resources<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with and report to funders \/ donors<\/li>\n<li>Management of Funds<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Marketing &amp; Promoting the Project<\/li>\n<li>Deal positively with all visitors and volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Regular reports to and liaising with the Management Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric certificate<\/li>\n<li>Valid PDP &amp; Driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Prepare and Submit Fundraising Proposals<\/li>\n<li>Valid Police Clearance<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Child Care essential<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a management or supervision role<\/li>\n<li>Communication, administrative, financial and personnel management skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u200bNGO experience is an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV to <strong><a href=\"mailto:stfrancis49@gmail.com\">stfrancis49@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 15 November, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heavens Nest is an outreach programme of St Francis Anglican Church in the Diocese of False Bay.
