FHI 360 serves more than 70 countries and all U.S. states and territories.<\/p>\n<p>In South Africa, EpiC will be implementing a voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) service delivery project which aims to reduce HIV infections through targeted provision of VMMC in pursuit of reaching 95-95-95 goals.\u00a0To achieve this goal, the program will increase demand for and provide high quality, high volume cost-efficient VMMC services in South Africa, coordinate with USAID\u2019s Global Health Supply Chain implementing partner and support the transition of direct VMMC service delivery to the Government of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>South Africa, Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) Officer willsupport the EpiC project team and partner organizations on operationalization of MER systems, data analysis and reporting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Officer will work closely with the Senior Technical Advisor, SI and will be responsible for the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide monitoring and evaluation support to the EpiC MER team and implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Provide support implementing partners to operationalize MER plans<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliant use of MER plans, tools and a SOPs by implementing partners.<\/li>\n<li>Provide M&amp;E technical support to the EpiC project partners out activities and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance on project data reports submission by implementing partners and FHI 360<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate review of reports and ensure timely data submission by partners<\/li>\n<li>Conduct data validation and verification using various online and offline platforms<\/li>\n<li>Track progress towards achieving the program targets, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the reporting systems as per USAID\/ PEPFAR formats\/ requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct training sessions and workshops on MER for implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Conduct RDQA and Spot checks site visits and meetings with partners<\/li>\n<li>Compile MER presentations and workshops including development of materials and manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Provide M&amp;E inputs on Epic project reports<\/li>\n<li>Support partners with all project reporting requirements in line with USAID rules and Regulations<\/li>\n<li>Write a variety of documents and analytical reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree or Diploma in Social Sciences or Developmental Studies, Public Health, Demography, Epidemiology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of working experience with an NGO or International \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Organization<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with VMMC projects is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with USAID\/PEPFAR funded projects will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Experience in establishing an M&amp;E system, i.e. developing data collection forms, indicator reference sheets and performance monitoring plans<\/li>\n<li>Experience in using various mhealth\/digital health platforms<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent ICT skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimum supervision at times<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to to travel nationally<\/li>\n<li>Focused, organized and flexible attitude<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This job advert summarizes the main duties and requirements of the job.
