He \/ she is a member of the Senior Management Team and will be responsible for managing the functions of the Finance and Operations Departments including supervision of staff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Job Title: Finance &amp; Operations Director<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas\/responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead annual financial strategic planning;<\/li>\n<li>Managing and monitoring procurement policies and systems in line with USAID and Pact Global;<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management and Leadership;<\/li>\n<li>External Stakeholder Reporting; (includes financial reporting in accordance with USAID contractual requirements);<\/li>\n<li>Internal Control Systems Management;<\/li>\n<li>Staff Supervision and Professional Development;<\/li>\n<li>Statutory Compliance;<\/li>\n<li>Managing of Procurement and IT;<\/li>\n<li>Facilities and Asset Management;<\/li>\n<li>Administration Support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Educational Qualification, Experience and Key Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Financial Management, Business Administration, Financial Accounting or other relevant field, or a bachelor\u2019s degree with 10 years\u2019 experience;<\/li>\n<li>5 years of relevant development financial working experience; experience of working with or in the South African Treasury is preferred;<\/li>\n<li>10 years\u2019 experience in accounting, operations and financial management of large-scale, complex, international development assistance programs;<\/li>\n<li>Working experience and knowledge of Serenic accounting system is preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Registration with Professional Bodies (CAP; ACCA or SAIPA) will be an added advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in team building experience;<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience building or enhancing financial management capacity of civil society organizations;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated previous experience &amp; skills in developing &amp; presenting and managing large budgets;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal Skills;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word; Excel; Outlook and Internet);<\/li>\n<li>A customer service oriented individual with ability to deal with all service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication and Presentation skills;<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License and own vehicle;<\/li>\n<li>South African and \/ or permanent residents are preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review and shortlisting will be done on a rolling basis until such time as a successful candidate has been identified.
