{"id":50406,"date":"2019-12-02T10:44:57","date_gmt":"2019-12-02T08:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=50406"},"modified":"2019-12-02T10:44:57","modified_gmt":"2019-12-02T08:44:57","slug":"open-secrets-recent-available-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/open-secrets-recent-available-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Open Secrets Recent Available Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Open Secrets is a nonprofit organisation working on issues of economic crime and the link to human rights with a focus on the financial sector in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The organisaiton uses research, advocacy and the law to hold people and institutions who abuse power to account.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Legal intern\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Community House in Salt River, Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Full-time position.<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:\u00a0<\/strong>January 2020 for a six-month contract period<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0R10,000.00 per month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with researching particular aspects of the law, assisting with developing legal strategies based on research, assisting with drafting letters and other documents.<\/li>\n<li>From this legal research, summarise research findings and draft internal legal opinions and memorandums.<\/li>\n<li>Help with drafting reports and related occasional articles for our website and social media platforms.
