Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Based:\u00a0 Savoy Estate, Johannesburg<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reports to<\/strong>: <strong>Chief Executive Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Finance, Admin, Secretarial<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage members of Finance Department<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for internal controls, policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Perform detailed check of the posting process and reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Act as the organisation\u2019s representative to SARS<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Tax compliance<\/li>\n<li>Monitor VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly cashflow<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly Management Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Present Financial Results at Management Meetings and Trustee Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Financial Reports for donors<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Fixed Assets Registers are kept updated<\/li>\n<li>Oversee Credit Card Applications<\/li>\n<li>Follow up Staff Debtors Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for statutory and donor audits<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and monitor insurance programme<\/li>\n<li>Review salaries and prepare journal<\/li>\n<li>Company Secretarial Functions \u2013 Resolutions, meeting requests, minutes, attendance registers, agendas, statutory returns, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the identification and response to risks in the organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for general controls as well as day-to-day operations<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of IT function to ensure safe environment and operating procedures are in place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Procurement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for internal controls, policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation of and adherence to the organisation\u2019s Order System<\/li>\n<li>Organise and attend Vendors Committee meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education, Experience and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ACCA or CIMA Qualification (minimum)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in financial planning and reporting, risk management, payroll and general office administration<\/li>\n<li>Experience working for an NGO advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Sage Evolution Accounting and Pastel Payroll packages, or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience in financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of local regulatory requirements of IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of statutory submissions and compliance<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s licence essential<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability and ability to work in a fluid
