Assist in the development of processes and procedures to ensure quality patient services and compliance of professional and ethical standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for operational and strategic management of all services for the district\/sub-district, i.e. hospitals, CHC\u2019s, clinics, mobiles and satellites related to the Global Fund TB Project<\/li>\n<li>Provide clinical supervision and support services and implementation of TB infection control and prevention<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient planning and control and the effective use of all resources<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Human Resource Management and Skills Development<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the provision of high-quality treatment and care to TB, DR-TB and TB-HIV patients and support monitoring and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement Health Promotion and Prevention activities.<\/li>\n<li>Link with the community structures and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Collect data and submit reports according to request and project prescription<\/li>\n<li>Provide services to the surrounding communities<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed<\/li>\n<li>Other project management activities may occur as the needs of this project evolve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum educational qualification of basic R425 qualification (diploma\/degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse<\/li>\n<li>Post-basic competency certificate in Nurse Initiated Multi Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Treatment and Care (NIMDR-TB)<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse and prove of valid membership<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English and at least one other South African language<\/li>\n<li>Valid unendorsed code 8 driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>NIMART certification is a strong recommendation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of South Africa\u2019s current evident-based TB\/DR-TB and TB-HIV investigations and treatment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and sensitivity to working with multi-cultural groups<\/li>\n<li>Experience in TB\/DR-TB and TB-HIV program monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>In developing and making professional presentations to present to relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of South Africa\u2019s public health and development trends and approaches<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with an ability to handling pressure situations and keep being polite<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer literacy in:<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, e-mail along with strong internet-based skills including methods of online communication (Skype, Social Media Platform, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-cultural group<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are welcome to apply, please provide two (2) current, relevant employment references.
