HPPSA is looking for candidates that meet the below listed qualities:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Research Assistants\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>1x Ehlanzeni District, Mpumalanga and 1x UMkhanyakude District, Kwa-Zulu Natal<br \/>\n<strong>Salary: <\/strong>R6 500.00 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Duration: 3 MONTHS (15 Jan 20 \u2013 15 April 20.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coordinate order of required materials and supplies, Participate in training of field workers and Coordinate data collection and data entry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research Assistant Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate order of required materials and supplies<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training of field workers<\/li>\n<li>Provide field supervision support<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate data collection and data entry<\/li>\n<li>Package and courier specimens, hard copy forms and other study materials as required<\/li>\n<li>Maintain good relations with communities in which the study is conducted and with all enrolled study participants<\/li>\n<li>Strictly observe the provisions of the study protocol and its stipulated ethical considerations in carrying out the above duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research assistant Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum degree or diploma in public health, environmental health or epidemiology<\/li>\n<li>Literate in English and Zulu\/Shangaan<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience implementing surveys<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience coordinating field staff<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with studies that require blood samples<\/li>\n<li>Able to operate a tablet device<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with data entry platforms<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with community level field work in KwaZulu-Natal and\/or Mpumalanga<\/li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate with country and provincial level structures, and with partners<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of malaria<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a motivational letter and CV no later than\u00a0to the following address:<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:applications@hpp-sa.org\">applications@hpp-sa.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>17th December 2019 @ 17:00 pm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Humana People to People in South Africa seeks to recruit two (2) Research Assistants based in\u00a01x\u00a0Ehlanzeni District, Mpumalanga and 1x UMkhanyakude District, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
