{"id":50665,"date":"2019-12-17T14:16:16","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T12:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=50665"},"modified":"2019-12-16T15:17:43","modified_gmt":"2019-12-16T13:17:43","slug":"the-hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-job-opening-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-job-opening-2.html","title":{"rendered":"The Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) Job Opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with The Association for the Aged (TAFTA).<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration aims to improve access to palliative care for older people in South Africa through training, support and policy development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Temp &#8211; Data Capturers<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Mpumulanga<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of position is to accurately and efficiently capture data required by the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data Capturing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prepare APACE source documents by compiling and sorting information according to specific instructions provided by the MERO;<\/li>\n<li>Verify accuracy of data from designated APACE sources before entering it into the system;<\/li>\n<li>Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity with MERO;<\/li>\n<li>Combine and rearrange data from APACE source documents and transcribe given information into electronic formats;<\/li>\n<li>Check all completed work for accuracy and change any field that requires editing;<\/li>\n<li>Provide data management assistance to APACE programmes;<\/li>\n<li>Capture data at allocated APACE partner sites;<\/li>\n<li>Exercise and maintain data management by following applicable policies and proceduresa<\/li>\n<li><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Identify, label and organize electronic storage media and ensure that both security and confidentiality is maintained;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure reports are done timeously, accurate and reliably;<\/li>\n<li>Implement a data base backup system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minimum qualifications include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency at advanced level MS Excel and intermediary MS Word<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 years\u2019 data capturing experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have own reliable transportation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCY PROFILE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical\/Professional knowledge, skills and expertise- Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills- Customer Service Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Detail orientation- \u00a0Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork &#8211; Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness- Compassion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit a detailed CV, covering letter and names of three contactable references including email contact to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@hpca.co.za\">hr@hpca.co.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Friday,\u00a020<sup>th<\/sup> December 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) has a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with The Association for the Aged (TAFTA).
