Monitor and Evaluate project implementation at healthcare facilities within district\/sub-district. Provide, leadership, collaboration, consultation, education and research to reach the USAID LON objectives and goals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Sub -district manager will work directly with the District and Sub -district government officials to ensure regular review of the data and quality thereof as well as the programme performance.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the sub-district\u00a0\u00a0 which require excellent communication and coordination skills.<\/li>\n<li>Develop schedules of meetings, agendas, workshops\/trainings, and maintain data integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and provide support to the field staff to ensure that the project deliverables are executed according to the specifications<\/li>\n<li>Ensures collection of pertinent data from internal and external sources and monitors compliance with SOPs that speaks to clinical care and overall programme performance.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct site visits to ensure that all clinical and programmatic data is reviewed.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with Sub-district and all field staff on an ongoing basis and is available to them by telephone\/email\/text.<\/li>\n<li>Plans, proposes and evaluates means to overcome identified barriers with regards to programme implementation<\/li>\n<li>Provide quality assurance support to ensure accurate data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Assumes responsibility for specific QA activities for the sites.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in internal audits.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains records of correspondence of faxes, emails, patient communication, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews the work plans of the field staff and provide technical support as need be.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the field staff to ensure that all programmatic targets are met.<\/li>\n<li>Develops monthly reports and site visit reports for all activities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop SOP\u2019s and working practice guidelines and manage the implementation and rollout of the documents<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quarterly assessments as it pertains to programme performance<\/li>\n<li>Administrative Management of all sub-district staff.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts performance reviews of all assigned staff members<\/li>\n<li>Coaching of all field staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health related degree OR equivalent application applicable<\/li>\n<li>Current recognised registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) if applicable<\/li>\n<li>South African citizenship or a valid work visa<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal, written and presentation skills in English and at least one other South African language<\/li>\n<li>Valid unendorsed driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of South Africa\u2019s current evident-based TB\/DR-TB and TB-HIV programme management<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience in programme implementation and management<\/li>\n<li>Preferred experience in programme management in public primary care-based facilities in South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and sensitivity to working with multi-cultural groups<\/li>\n<li>Experience in TB\/DR-TB and TB-HIV program monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>In developing and making professional presentations to present to relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of South Africa\u2019s public health and development trends and approaches<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated manager with an ability and flexibility to handling pressure situations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary\/culture group<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse and interpret data and write written reports<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in:<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Power Point and Outlook\/e-mail along with strong internet-based skills including methods of online communication (Skype, Social Media Platform, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to work under pressure and be proactive in motivating people to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are welcome to apply, please provide two (2) current, relevant employment references.
