{"id":51020,"date":"2020-01-06T12:33:22","date_gmt":"2020-01-06T10:33:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=51020"},"modified":"2020-01-06T12:33:22","modified_gmt":"2020-01-06T10:33:22","slug":"south-africa-partners-recent-employment-opportunity-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/south-africa-partners-recent-employment-opportunity-4.html","title":{"rendered":"South Africa Partners Recent Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SA Partners was established in 1998, South Africa Partners has worked with our partners in government, private industry, civil society and academia towards closing the gap to provide access to quality health and education for all.<\/p>\n<p>Our current work focuses on three areas, Providing care and support to people living with and at risk for HIV, TB, other infectious and Chronic Diseases; Increasing the capacity of health leaders to drive health system transformation and Supporting young children to reach their full potential in life through child development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Prevention Support Counselor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Johannesburg,KZN,Western Cape,Eastern Cape,Mpumalanga and Limpopo.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to be\u00a0responsible for performing HIV Testing Services (HTS) at the DCS centers, overseeing the distribution of condoms, and conducting follow-up with DCS clinic staff to ensure that inmates are linked to care and support services that are rendered in Correctional facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning<\/li>\n<li>HIV Testing and\u00a0 Counselling<\/li>\n<li>Condom Distribution<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance and Quality Improvements (QA\/QI);<\/li>\n<li>Report Writing<\/li>\n<li>General Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A post-matric qualification will be preferred<a id=\"_anchor_2\" href=\"http:\/\/serverjhb\/UserShared\/hrtemp\/Desktop\/New%20posts\/Prevention%20Support%20Counsellor.docx#_msocom_2\">[<\/a>LM2<a href=\"http:\/\/serverjhb\/UserShared\/hrtemp\/Desktop\/New%20posts\/Prevention%20Support%20Counsellor.docx#_msocom_2\">]<\/a>\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>HIV\/AIDS Counselling and Testing Certificate; would be Advantageous Auxiliary Social Work qualification or similar experience\/qualification;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of similar prevention and\/or care and support programs will be a distinct advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Skills and additional Competencies:<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with USG\/CDC\/USAID funding rules<\/li>\n<li>Travel up to 70% within South Africa<\/li>\n<li>The employer has the right to not fill this post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly email a\u00a0 Cover Letter with salary requirements, and your resume or CV to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:hrtemp@sapartners.org\">hrtemp@sapartners.org<\/a><\/strong>.
