CHOC aims to save lives through early detection and making the journey of those who are affected by childhood cancer, less burdensome through the comprehensive support programmes we offer.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Social Worker Paediatric Haematology Oncology Unit<\/strong>
\nLocation: <\/strong>Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, Soweto, Gauteng.
\nReports\u00a0to:<\/strong> CHOC Psychosocial\u00a0Support\u00a0Services\u00a0Manager.
\nStart Date:<\/strong> \u00a002 March 2020
\nRemuneration: Salary in the range\u00a0R192k-R210k \u00a0per annum, CHOC makes contributions towards a pension fund as well as offers a medical aid subsidy.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this position is to\u00a0provide counselling and psychosocial support services to children diagnosed with cancer or life threatening blood disorders and their families.<\/p>\n
