They currently operate in 41 partner schools in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Operations Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to\u00a0support the streamlining of processes and smooth-running of our distributed team. The Operations Manager will work to document and implement key processes and procedures while making sure that key communication happens at all levels within the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>As this is a new role that will likely evolve over time. That being said, the envisioned role is highly varied and requires good people, communication, time management and organisation skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Human Resources:<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all teams are fully staffed at all times, maintain and update the organisation\u2019s HR policies and procedures, oversee the organisation\u2019s onboarding and training program.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation:<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Numeric\u2019s evaluation partner to appropriately plan and implement annual evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Programs Support:<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Chief Program Managers on planning, coach recruitment, coach training and program execution to achieve targets set out at the beginning of the year.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Support and Oversight:<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Numeric\u2019s website and liaise with our technical team in maintenance and updates to our online Learner Management System.<\/li>\n<li>Event Planning:<\/li>\n<li>Support the chief program managers in planning and executing the annual math camp, math olympiad and coach training events, and oversee the planning of the annual team retreat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s degree, or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative and to handle a wide range of tasks<\/li>\n<li>Interest in community development and maths education<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of full-time relevant work experience in the non-profit\/development sector<\/li>\n<li>Emotional Intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the mission and values of Numeric<\/li>\n<li>Advantageous Skills\/Experience:<\/li>\n<li>Experience in donor-funded environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a senior operations leadership position<\/li>\n<li>Strategic and analytical thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in HR Management<\/li>\n<li>Other Requirements<\/li>\n<li>Own transport and valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who will enhance and support the growth of Numeric\u2019s core operations.
