The AKF is aiming to establish a minimum of 10 such clubs per year over a ten year period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Youth activism programme manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Gauteng<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development and implementation of a youth activism development strategy for the AKF;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the development and implementation of the programme of establishment of the youth clubs;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the implementation of activism and youth mobilisation dimension of campaigns and programmes initiated and or supported by the AKF;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the youth clubs and their members undergo a programme of political education and training;<\/li>\n<li>To establish the necessary support programmes for the overall wellbeing of the members of the clubs;<\/li>\n<li>To mobilise resources for the programme and<\/li>\n<li>To build the required networks and support systems to ensure the sustainability of the programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of social justice issues and youth activism;<\/li>\n<li>Good administrative, analytical, writing, facilitation and presentation skills;<\/li>\n<li>Programme and project planning and management;<\/li>\n<li>Financial management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead projects and programmes;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write proposals, presentations and reports;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and<\/li>\n<li>A valid driver\u2019s licence.<\/li>\n<li>Qualifications required:<\/li>\n<li>The applicant must have, as a minimum, a bachelor\u2019s degree.
