We offer a market related, Total Remuneration Package which allows full flexibility according to your needs, a great work environment and a promise that you won\u2019t be bored as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the marketing and growth teams\u2019 BI, data and reporting needs<\/li>\n<li>Building and editing reports in Qlikview, QlikSense &amp; Tableau<\/li>\n<li>Setting up and maintaining automated operational and financial reports to internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of customer, digital marketing and product data and providing ad-hoc reports<\/li>\n<li>Data mining when needed to discover root causes or changes in marketing, customer or growth key performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating and\/or setting up of reports that can be used to report on in various management and business review forums<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with all of Mr D Food\u2019s teams to understand their data and BI needs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating access to the required data and also striving to make access to information as seamless as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Extracting data currently not available through our standardized BI tools.<\/li>\n<li>Transforming, cleaning and monitoring accuracy of data (performing regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate reporting of data\/metrics).<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring data is extracted, stored and updated in a cost effective &amp; sustainable way.<\/li>\n<li>Providing necessary training to team members on the usage of tools\/reports<\/li>\n<li>Analysing data and providing insights in an appropriate and easy to understand manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solutions-oriented with a can-do attitude and high energy<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are imperative<\/li>\n<li>You have a track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to distill the conclusions of findings form large data sets in easy to understand and to the point reports<\/li>\n<li>Ability and appetite to get involved in multiple projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders expectations<\/li>\n<li>Focused on getting the job done, yet having fun doing so<\/li>\n<li>Taking ownership and displaying accountability in the work required of you<\/li>\n<li>There must be a keen interest in e-commerce, and even better the gig economy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your experience and qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a degree in the related fields of computer science, engineering, statistics or mathematics.<\/li>\n<li>You have experience working with big sets of data<\/li>\n<li>You have worked in the field of BI and data for 1+ years<\/li>\n<li>Experience drawing raw data and creating dashboards<\/li>\n<li>You have knowledge of reporting platforms &#8211; QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau<\/li>\n<li>Advanced SQL\/Google Big Query<\/li>\n<li>Python and or R knowledge are certainly an advantage<\/li>\n<li>A working knowledge of data science tools and methodologies are an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience analysing digital marketing and product data (Firebase, Google Analytics, Adwords) an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience analysing customer transaction behaviour an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employees are entrepreneurial and dynamic, smart, customer-centric, fun and have the shared ambition of [URL Removed] being the leading e-commerce company in Africa.<\/li>\n<li>We have fun, work hard, take ownership, work in teams to create solutions, and are always open to direct feedback\/new ideas on where we can improve.<\/li>\n<li>We are short on ego and high on output.<\/li>\n<li>We are doers and not only thinkers, its all in the execution after all.<\/li>\n<li>We love what we do and what we are creating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We seek to Employ an Extraordinary Mind who:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>is respectful but forthright<\/li>\n<li>is an expert at doing, who can not only design but also execute<\/li>\n<li>is analytical, able to use data to make decisions<\/li>\n<li>is competitive, self-directed and strive to be the BEST (GREAT requires a lot of work and does not only happen during business hours<\/li>\n<li>is passionate about the potential of e-commerce and delivering a world-class customer experience<\/li>\n<li>is entrepreneurial, thrives under change and accepts it is a constant and always looks for solutions to do something better and faster<\/li>\n<li>is business SMART.
