Open Secrets\u00a0exposes and builds accountability for private sector economic crimes through investigative research, advocacy, and the law.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal intern<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Community House in Salt River, Cape Town.<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Starting\u00a0February \/ March 2020\u00a0for a six-month contract period.<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:\u00a0<\/strong>R10,000.00 per month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with researching particular aspects of the law, assisting with developing legal strategies based on research, and assisting with drafting letters and other documents.<\/li>\n<li>From this legal research, summarise research findings and draft internal legal opinions and memorandums.<\/li>\n<li>Help with drafting reports and related occasional articles for our website and social media platforms.
