SFH in South Africa concentrates on issues of HIV\/ AIDS.<\/p>\n<p>As part of their HIV\/AIDS control efforts, SFH is using social marketing to motivate behaviour change with respect to consistent condom use, HIV testing and other safer behaviours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant (3)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Department: <\/strong>Medical Programs- VMMC<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> uMgungundlovu and Harry Gwala and Head Office<br \/>\n<strong>Employment status: <\/strong>Fixed Term Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track and manage the flow of data at site level<\/li>\n<li>Ensure correct versions of data collection tools are available on-site.<\/li>\n<li>Provide training and mentoring on completion of all data collection tools, registers<\/li>\n<li>Review data collection forms and \/ or source data for completeness, accuracy and consistency<\/li>\n<li>Capture paper data collection forms into the electronic database<\/li>\n<li>Perform data verification on data before entry into the database<\/li>\n<li>Provide training and mentoring on data management systems<\/li>\n<li>Identify\/resolve data discrepancies by monitoring data (review data listings, perform manual checks and reviewing output in files).<\/li>\n<li>Handle and resolve both internal at site level<\/li>\n<li>Provide first line IT support.<\/li>\n<li>Support and mentor the data collection staff and capture data onto DHIS2 or provided database<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all data is handled and stored securely<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to all data management SOP\u2019s, guidelines and confidential agreement<\/li>\n<li>Ensures data triangulation at site level<\/li>\n<li>Tracks and ensures all major programme indicators are being collected<\/li>\n<li>Provide first line support to partners data collection and reporting requirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Data Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filing and tracking of all data tools received<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain all data management files and appropriate documentation<\/li>\n<li>Filing and management of all queries received electronically<\/li>\n<li>Complete daily\/weekly\/monthly reports to keep record of the work done and forward monthly statistics to relevant role players<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Statistics or Health Information Sciences<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience working in the HIV AIDS and STI programme data as well as information management background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your full application to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@sfh.co.za\">recruitment@sfh.co.za<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0All application submissions will be reviewed and considered, only the most qualified candidates will be short listed and contacted for interviews.
