{"id":52005,"date":"2020-02-04T15:29:27","date_gmt":"2020-02-04T13:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=52005"},"modified":"2020-02-04T15:29:27","modified_gmt":"2020-02-04T13:29:27","slug":"gender-links-latest-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/gender-links-latest-ongoing-recruitment-apply-now.html","title":{"rendered":"Gender Links Latest Ongoing Recruitment &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The COE concept seeks to ensure that key councils are identified across the region and worked with very closely in their process of getting gender on their council\u2019s agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The approach also seeks to develop synergy in GL programme work by focusing various projects from our SADC Gender Protocol, governance, media and justice programmes in specific localities.<a href=\"https:\/\/genderlinks.org.za\/programme-web-menu\/gender-in-local-government-south-africa-2013-10-01\/\">\u00a0Click here<\/a>\u00a0for the Gender in Local Government COE report for South Africa for 2015.The councils\u2019 progress in South Africa<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Grants Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Chief Executive Officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversight of grant calls, assessment, due diligence and budgets;<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop strategies and systems to optimise the grants administration process;<\/li>\n<li>Direct involvement in grant submissions by coordinating with grant seeking organisations\u2019 writers or coordinators;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee if the grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organisation;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise grantee organisations to ensure proper coordination of work, which is aligned to the proposals submitted;<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with financial policies; donor reporting and statutory requirements by implementing partners;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and reporting on budget trends;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor grantees expenditures against approved budget and programme objectives and ensure Grants Officers have completed the Cash Request Checklist for each cash request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a postgraduate degree or specialised certification in Accounting\/Commerce; or Professional qualification at level 2, e.g. CIS, CIMA;<\/li>\n<li>At least ten years of professional experience with at least three of these in an NGO environment and a proven track record of managing multiple countries and donors.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge and experience of Sage Pastel Evolution is non-negotiable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit their\u00a0CV\u2019s, references, a summary of their key achievements, and letter of motivation\u00a0using the online application form<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/genderlinks.orangehrmlive.com\/recruitmentApply\/11\/view\">https:\/\/genderlinks.orangehrmlive.com\/recruitmentApply\/11\/view<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/genderlinks.orangehrmlive.com\/recruitmentApply\/11\/view%20online%20platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/genderlinks.orangehrmlive.com\/recruitmentApply\/11\/view\">online platform<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Monday 10th February 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The COE concept seeks to ensure that key councils are identified across the region and worked with very closely in their process of getting gender on their council\u2019s agenda.
