The Army\u2019s doctrine follows the mainstream of Christian belief and its articles of faith emphasise God\u2019s saving purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The Organisations objects are \u2018the advancement of the Christian religion of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Coordinator \u2013 Early Child Development<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Western Cape<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> R15 000.00\u00a0 &#8211; R18 600.00 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies or related field.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience working in project coordination and a proven understanding of the ECD sector.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of The Salvation Army\/NGO.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency with decision making.<\/li>\n<li>References and criminal clearance essential.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong>\u00a0(inter alia)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the Divisional Commander, Projects Team to develop project plans.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the constructions to standards.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the project finance officer to ensure that that the budget reflects current activity plans.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate project coordination, information sharing and guidance on donor rules to TSA and Partner\u2019s project staff.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that partners\u2019 responsibilities are tracked and evaluated.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain comprehensive electronic files for the project.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and coordinate partnership processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high quality, timely and coherent reporting, both financial and narrative.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other support functions as directed by Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SUPPLY COMPLETE APPLICATIONS TO:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"mailto:Wcape_dc@saf.salvationarmy.org\">Wcape_dc@saf.salvationarmy.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 12 February, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Salvation Army is an integral part of the Christian Church, although distinctive in government and practice.
