For more than 25 years, Beautiful Gate SA has sought to bring justice to the plight of the poor, especially the orphaned and vulnerable child. Children are at the heart of their \u00a0work as they believe that the future lies with them and the restoration of their families. \u200b<\/p>\n<p>Beautiful Gate SA works in a holistic way in their community and have focussed their work on three critical areas: \u200bFamily Strengthening, Child Health and Education. \u200bThese are areas of great need within theirr South African peri-urban township context and have a significant impact on the lives of children and their families.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Phillip, Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The Monitroing and Evaluation Officer will manage the Beautiful Gate SA database and support the design and implementation the monitoring and evaluation, research and learning framework for Beautiful Gate SA\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining Beautiful Gate\u2019s centralised database of supporters, partners, staff &amp; volunteers on Salesforce, and ensure that email addresses are correctly synced to Mailchimp<\/li>\n<li>Supporting programme managers &amp; data capturers to maintain an accurate database of all beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the refinement of relevant Theories of Change for Beautiful Gate SA programmes as required<\/li>\n<li>Working with the relevant programme teams to ensure an annual performance monitoring plan is in place<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the design and development and\/or refinement of monitoring tools, for both quantitative and qualitative data collection, using a consultative process with programme management and\/or teams<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that programme staff are collecting monitoring data on a regular basis<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring quality of the data collection and conduct internal audits of both paper and electronic data<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing accuracy of data recorded in Salesforce, and support programme teams to make corrections<\/li>\n<li>Supporting programme teams to conduct qualitative data collection, which may include surveys, focus groups, key informant interviews, case studies and story telling<\/li>\n<li>Assisting programme managers with data for their monthly reports<\/li>\n<li>Analyse output and outcome results and report on findings to management as per agreed plans<\/li>\n<li>Producing quarterly reports on M&amp;E findings and prepare presentations of data as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0Monitoring and Evaluation Officer\u00a0must meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in social development, education or health (or relevant field) required<\/li>\n<li>Post graduate qualification in Monitoring &amp; Evaluation preferred<\/li>\n<li>Professional experience in similar role<\/li>\n<li>Qualitative or quantitative research experience<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce or CRM experience (preferably at a Systems Administrator level)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Advanced computer literacy \u2013 especially on Excel and other Microsoft products<\/li>\n<li>Good time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to cope with change<\/li>\n<li>Able to work in a multi-cultural\/lingual environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>View the full job description and application instructions on the Vacancies page at<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.actionappointments.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.actionappointments.co.za<\/a><\/strong> and email your application to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:tracy@actionappointments.co.za\">tracy@actionappointments.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Monday, 2 March, 2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beautiful Gate Ministry (t\/a Beautiful Gate SA) is a Christian non-profit organisation based in Lower Crossroads, Philippi.
