Your core role will be to help design and develop core systems for both the back and front end. The successful candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science\/Mathematics\/Electrical Engineering or other related discipline, at least 3+ year\u2019s Software Dev experience, 1+ in an Agile Dev environment, experience logging services\/analytics: Splunk\/SumoLogic and your skillset should also include: Elixir, Java, Ruby, Scala, Clojure &amp; [URL Removed] design and develop the core systems for both the back and front end.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the optimal functioning and continual enhancement of systems by responding rapidly to potential issues and changing business needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS: <strong>Qualifications \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience\/Skills \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ Years of experience in Software Development.<\/li>\n<li>1+ Years in an Agile development environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with modern development languages: Elixir, Java, Ruby, Scala, Clojure, Haskell, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with logging services\/analytics: Splunk\/SumoLogic.<\/li>\n<li>Cloud-based services background.<\/li>\n<li>Able to translate business needs into technical requirements and designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantageous \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elixir\/Phoenix skills.<\/li>\n<li>Mobile app development.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with Heroku.<\/li>\n<li>Amazon Web Service environments (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of basic financial concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with enterprise-class software running significant transactional volumes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ATTRIBUTES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and Organising.<\/li>\n<li>Intellectually curious.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ENVIRONMENT: An innovative FinTech platform seeks the expertise of a highly technical &amp; solutions-driven Mid \u2013 Snr Software Engineer to join its team.
