One of its programmes, the Rainbow PSR Groups, offers community-based psychosocial rehabilitation and support to adults with psychiatric \/psychosocial disabilities in the form of 26 weekly support groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to find a\u00a0dynamic and highly motivated individual as a supervisor at their\u00a0Special Education and Care Centre in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain for children with severe\/profound intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum NQF Level 5 Qualification relevant to the field of intellectual disability<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing a day programme for children with severe \/ profound Intellectual Disability<\/li>\n<li>Experience\u00a0 in day centre management<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in English and Afrikaans<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing staff\/volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of financial management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the daily operational activities of the day-centre<\/li>\n<li>Delegate and supervise staff duties<\/li>\n<li>Secure the safety of the children<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and communicate with the community<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Programme Manager<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regular parent meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage own centre\u2019s administration<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate transport<\/li>\n<li>Keep records of staff &amp; children<\/li>\n<li>Keep petty cash, handle collection of parent contributions<\/li>\n<li>Plan and monitor project own fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Manage admissions, attendance and ensuring centre is filled to capacity<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing and maintaining assets \/ busses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit a letter of motivation and an updated C.V. with contactable references to Attention: Mpilo Khumalo SECC Programme Manager, Deliver Cape Mental Health, E-mail: <strong><a href=\"mailto:mpilo@cmh.org.za\">mpilo@cmh.org.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 6 March, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Mental Health is a non-profit organisation that offers comprehensive and proactive mental health services in the Western Cape.
