Their mission is to transform individuals through holistic skills development programs, equipping people to build better lives for themselves, their families, their churches and their communities.<\/p>\n<p>Their skills programs include Computing, Trade Skills (Welding\/Carpentry), Hair Styling, Business, Leadership, Biblical Ministry and Discipleship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Print Shop Apprentice<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to\u00a0help with the everyday tasks of a busy print shop, whose primary focus is screen printing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposing, preparation and reclaiming of screens<\/li>\n<li>Screen printing of shirts and heat transfers<\/li>\n<li>Printing of large format banners, vinyls and posters<\/li>\n<li>Laser cutting and engraving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A heart for the vision of Hope Africa Collective.<\/li>\n<li>Solid English skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong work ethic: dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s Licence<\/li>\n<li>Experience from a printshop, primarily with screen printing<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of computer graphics software (and computers in general)<\/li>\n<li>The ability to be a team player with everyone<\/li>\n<li>Also a definite plus:<\/li>\n<li>Outgoing<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented and organised<\/li>\n<li>Keen to learn<\/li>\n<li>A Christ-follower<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send a cover letter, your CV and any relevant qualifications\/certificates to us by email, at<strong> <a href=\"mailto:kevin@hopeafrica.com\">kevin@hopeafrica.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 27 March, 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hope Africa Collective is a Christian faith-based registered non-profit organisation based in Philippi, Cape Flats, Cape Town, founded in 2012.
