\/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Contract \u2013 Event Based Linked to Funding<br \/>\n<strong>start Date:<\/strong>\u00a0Immediately<\/p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>NIMART Qualified with valid Dispensing Licence is essential \u2013 candidates who do not have a Dispensing Licence will not be assessed<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Clinical Assessment, diagnosis and treatment will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate training in Primary Health Care Nursing or Public Health is highly desirable<\/li>\n<li>5 years&#8217; proven experience in working in a primary health care setting<\/li>\n<li>Must have extensive experience in HIV, AIDS and STI treatment and care<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in managing patients on ART<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with the private sector (private GP\/retail pharmacies\/private clinic) is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of South African HIV\/AIDS\/STI\/TB Management guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the South African Nursing Council (current)<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with TIER.Net advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate computer literacy and report writing<\/li>\n<li>Valid Code 08 Drivers licence is mandatory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Inherent requirements of the position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong administration background<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>A proactive nature<\/li>\n<li>Excellent people and motivational skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; good command of the English language<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to travel extensively<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work non-traditional hours which will include weekends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical assessment of MSM to deliver a comprehensive package of care including HIV diagnosis and treatment (ART), STI diagnosis and treatment and PrEP for high-risk negative clients<\/li>\n<li>Assessment for ART initiation according to SA Guidelines as well as WHO staging, same day initiation, UTT, etc<\/li>\n<li>Taking clinical history and conducting physical examination<\/li>\n<li>Collect bloods at initiation and later follow-up as per guideline (6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0month intervals)<\/li>\n<li>Dispensing of ART treatment to eligible clients<\/li>\n<li>Conduct adherence counselling<\/li>\n<li>Follow up support of ART initiated clients<\/li>\n<li>Referral of TB clients according to National TB clients<\/li>\n<li>Work with local DoH to procure commodities for HTS, ART and STI Treatment and clinical stationery;<\/li>\n<li>Manage and supervise a working and up-to-date dispensary to record all stock received and dispensed<\/li>\n<li>Collect and collate monthly stats for reporting to funders and DoH<\/li>\n<li>Work with lay counsellors, linkage officer and Patient Management Counsellors to trace defaulting treatment clients and re-link into care<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the safe disposal of medical waste and correct recording of supporting documents in this regard<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your
