{"id":53069,"date":"2020-03-13T11:25:39","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T09:25:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=53069"},"modified":"2020-03-13T11:25:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T09:25:39","slug":"grassroot-soccer-sa-grs-sa-recent-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/grassroot-soccer-sa-grs-sa-recent-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Grassroot Soccer SA (GRS SA) Recent Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grassroot Soccer SA (GRS SA) is appointing two Facilitators that will be responsible for the implementation of the CDC (Centre for Disease Control &amp; Prevention) funded programme as a sub-grantee to TB HIV Care (THC) &#8211; with specific focus on working with MEN (20 years of age and older) in\u00a0<strong>Kraaifontein<\/strong>\u00a0(Northern sub-district) &amp;\u00a0<strong>Delft<\/strong>\u00a0(Tygerberg sub-district) in Cape Town, Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Facilitator &#8211; GRS-THC Programme<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>location: <\/strong>Cape Town, Western Cape<\/p>\n<p>The programme implementation will center around the recruitment of male participants and the delivery\/facilitation of the\u00a0<em>MAN2MAN<\/em>\u00a0Curriculum. The ideal candidates will have had previous facilitation\/training experience and either reside in one of the two sub-districts and\/or will have had working knowledge or experience in working in one of the sub-districts.<\/p>\n<p>MAN2MAN training will be provided to enable the successful candidates to deliver the curriculum effectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mobilization of male participants to attend MAN2MAN training sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Planning sessions within designated sub-district to ensure targets are met based on the annual workplan.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate\/train male participants on the MAN2MAN (4 session) curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the project meets its targets and deliverables per sub-district, at the same time keeping the focus on quality training delivery.<\/li>\n<li>With support of the Programme Manager ensure programme spending is in accordance with the agreed budget (this includes scrutinizing the monthly programme expenditures) for designated sub-district.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure enrollment forms, attendance registers and any other data\/M&amp;E requirements are forwarded in a timely manner from the field in close cooperation with both the Programme Manager and the GRS M&amp;E team.<\/li>\n<li>Attend weekly check-in meetings with the GRS-THC team.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly progress reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Work in a pro-active manner and with responsiveness to participant, programme and funder needs.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong sub-district and regional level partnerships with THC staff, as well as other partner organisation on an ongoing basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED, KEY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE &amp; QAULIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or relevant education\/training related qualifications<\/li>\n<li>3+ years\u2019 experience facilitation and training experience in health\/community development programmes focusing on HiV Prevention, Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision, HIV Testing Services &amp; Gender-Based-Violence prevention.<\/li>\n<li>Strong, demonstrable subject-matter knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge and experience working in listed communities within Cape Town, Western Cape.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on USAID- or CDC-funded programmes advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with programmes specifically working with men will be highly advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning, administration and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal communication and relational skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment, and ability to analyze and solve problems, persuade, network and negotiate.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, effectively managing multiple priorities within a short time-frame.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure in an assertive yet patient &amp; supporting manner.<\/li>\n<li>Able to balance participant mobilization, training and M&amp;E duties with strong planning and coordination requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit your CV (max 3 pages and with contactable references) and a 1 page cover letter (in one document please) addressed to: Email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:addres@grassrootsoccer.org\"><strong>addres<\/strong><strong>@grassrootsoccer.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Friday, 20 March, 2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grassroot Soccer SA (GRS SA) is appointing two Facilitators that will be responsible for the implementation of the CDC (Centre for Disease Control &amp; Prevention) funded programme as a sub-grantee&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
