The Finance Officer will support finance, administration and human resources functions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the F&amp;A team continuously with audit readiness;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Payment Allocation Forms;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare all material related to field accounts for mailing, ensuring that appropriate copies are maintained and filed according to JSI guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>Create new hire payment profiles;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of statutory data report<\/li>\n<li>Manages petty cash<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Senior Finance Manager and HR<\/li>\n<li>Prepares and collects all necessary onboarding documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist to maintain HR records through an appropriate filing system<\/li>\n<li>Follows up with all employees to ensure timesheets are submitted and approved on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Files all compliance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the exit checklist and signatures from Supervisor, IT and other departments for employees leaving the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the HR Officer in the implementation of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Replicon, leave management etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Administration, logistics or a field relevant to the position<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 successful experience in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a multi-cultural environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, decision making, problem solving and administrative skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to juggle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, work flexibly in a dynamic, fast paced environment and maintain sense of perspective.<\/li>\n<li>The position requires a fair minded, people oriented and caring individual with excellent interpersonal skills and sensitivity to diversity.<\/li>\n<li>Required computer skills included MS Office (minimum Word and Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of USAID procurement rules and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with USAID funded projects will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit applications via email (Specify on the Subject Line: Application for Training and Capacity Development Advisor) to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:za-recruitment@za.jsi.com\">za-recruitment@za.jsi.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications Deadline:<\/strong> 19 March 2020<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John Snow Inc., (JSI), a public health management firm dedicated to providing high quality technical and managerial assistance to public health programs, is recruiting for\u00a01x\u00a0Finance\/Administrative Assistant\u00a0for a USAID-funded HIV prevention&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[57],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
